Suspensión de citas presenciales
Por medio del presente informamos que, a partir de hoy, quedan suspendidas las 10 citas presenciales que se venían ofreciendo los días martes en Quito y jueves en Guayaquil. Esta medida se adopta tras la implementación de un nuevo módulo en el sistema de citas, el cual garantiza la protección de los datos personales de los solicitantes y contribuye a prevenir cobros indebidos o intermediaciones en el proceso.

We would like to inform you that, starting Monday, June 16, 2025, the BLS Visa Application Center in Quito will be operating at its new location:

Please be kindly reminded that, to ensure an orderly and efficient service, only the visa applicant should appear at the Visa Application Center on the scheduled date and time of their appointment. Companions will not be allowed, except in justified cases such as minors, individuals with disabilities, or elderly applicants requiring assistance.

BLS International advises visa applicants to exercise caution and vigilance regarding the following points:

Our staff never ask visa applicants to make cash payments or any other form of payment to obtain an appointment, expedite the visa application process, secure an earlier appointment, or influence decision-making.

We do not recommend any direct payments into personal bank accounts.

Appointments must be booked exclusively through the BLS website. Please refer to the website for authorized service fees payable to BLS International.

Always request a receipt for optional value-added services available at our center.

The decision regarding visa applications is made solely by the competent authorities, and BLS International has no role or influence in this process. If you receive such a request (in writing or verbally), please report it immediately by completing the complaint form or by sending an email to antifraud@blsinternational.com.

Be cautious of intermediaries selling visa appointments under the name of BLS International or individually outside our center. All appointments must be booked through the BLS International website. Please refrain from purchasing appointments through a third party: this is a fraudulent practice that BLS International strongly condemns. As a responsible service provider, we make every effort to inform applicants to be wary of fraudulent intermediaries charging fees to clients for appointment bookings.

We recommend that you do not resort to paying a sum of money to people or consultants to obtain your appointment at BLS. These people or agencies do not have any connection with BLS, nor with the General Consulate of Spain in Quito and therefore will not have any advantages for obtaining an appointment or a visa. Insurance for Short Term Visa
Travel Insurance certificate must be submitted at the visa application center as it is a mandatory requirement for applicants travelling to Spain.

As of July 1, 2025, the Schengen visa fee will be:
More than 12 years: $104
Between 6 and 11 years old: $52
BLS fee: $19 por aplicante
Children under 6 years old: Free”

BLS informs that new appointments will be made available every Wednesday at 19:00 Hrs. If you wish to book an appointment for you Schengen visa, please be aware of the release time and date of new appointments at 20:00 Hrs, since they fill up quickly. Every Wednesday new appointment slots will be available for scheduling for the subsequent 3 weeks

Beginning on May 18 and onwards, the type D visa process (employed work, long term studies and general reunification) will be carried out at BLS International.

DIFFICULTIES OBTAINING AN APPOINTMENT FOR SCHENGEN VISA

Remember that you may request an emergency appointments regarding health reasons, congresses, business meetings, studies, etc. Emergency appointments will not be given for tourism.

Please note that BLS INTERNATIONAL DOES NOT send emails requesting extra money for the processing of your visa. The amount paid when presenting for the process, is the ONLY value that is legally charged and invoiced.
Check the DOMAIN where these emails come from as they may be SCAMS. OFFICIAL emails DO NOT HAVE A DOMAIN @hotmail, @yahoo, @gmail, among others.

Important
- EU family members have the right to go directly to the Consulate/Embassy to manage their visa application.

Please enter the correct and true email and phone number, we will call you to reconfirm your appointment.
Appointments with data that is not real or does not exist will be cancelled.

BLS Employee must provide receipt for all the services availed and paid at BLS Spain Visa Application Centre. Please write to feedback.lm@blsinternational.net if you have not received receipt for any payments made in the Spain Visa Application Centre.
